Are you a pensioner on low income entitled to Pension Credit (up to £3,300/year)?

It may have passed you by, but Weds this week was “Pension Credit Day of Action”.

In short, it was a national reminder that pensioners (66 or over) who are over 65 years of age and have a total weekly income of under around £200 should absolutely be checking if they’re entitled to a boost.

Our friends over at MoneySavingExpert.com have put together a comprehensive guide on this, but the headline is if you even think you might be entitled to it (it’s estimated around 1 million pensioners are), it’s definitely worth checking > here <

Checking can be done online or via the Pension Credit hotline and should take only 5-10 minutes.
